I lied, it's both.
Okay so yeah, it's been like... a month since my last post, so I'm due for one anyway. May as well use it to discuss progress so far. It's going slower than I'd like it to be, but I'm still making progress. I don't even know how far along I am right now as far as length, but I just put the cap on one of four events, and I'm at nearly 6k words so... Yeah. I don't know how long it'll wind up being. Might come in at around the standard 13k or it might be a bigger 20k monster, I won't know until I get there. Point is: I'm workin' on it.
Lots of things to give attention to in this chapter, the big ones being the return of the hexhounds and some elaboration on their culture, as well as a bit of an unexpected twist (Oops, now it's expected) that needs to be handled exactly right if I don't want to wind up in a plothole. I will say this: I've been laying the groundwork for what's about to happen and who's responsible for a long time, and if you've been paying attention to a particular somepony, it'll hit you like a truck when it finally happens. Also, things are going to start getting pretty bad for our intrepid protagonist. Very fast. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see the chapter title, trust me.
Hang in there folks, it's coming. You'll never see me throw in the towel. Ever.

You know Tofu, all I can think of right now, is recommending you read Fallout: Equestria - The Ditzy Doo Chronicles. Story is brilliant, in the same vein of awesome as Outlaw, Memories and The Last Sentinel.

I'll definitely put it on my list to read later, you must understand that certain things take priority, especially considering how long I've been taking on this chapter. I won't stand for it, and I really need to buckle down and finish it. I'm actually pretty furious with myself, because I know for a fact that it shouldn't take me this long to write a chapter. It took me one day to write 10k words when I was writing chapter 18, so I should have been done a long time ago. Unacceptable.
Just keep writing until you take a look at it and decide "Yeah, that's a bit excessive." Good luck with everything!
