So I have 4k words of unedited crap written. I'm talking to a few pre-readers, so
it might be beaten into shape within the next two weeks or so. Stuck it on my
tumblr, but no one gave a shit.
It's a little different from Shackled Stallions of the Solar Seraglio - that
one was more of a joke brought on by discussions with an editor about
bad erotic writing (namely mine) mixed with a joke from Questionable Content.
I was extremely pleased with how people responded to that story. I only wish
the artist I commissioned to draw a romance novel cover for it hadn't flaked out
so I could submit it to EQD.
This is more of an OC adventure series - hey, wait, where are you all going?
So anyways, it's an AU set roughly 50 years past S1 featuring a pony conman and his
female human bodyguard. I'm going for something like some of the earlier
Conan stories with more humor or the tales of Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser.
There's a few stories about them I want to tell, so if people enjoy it I may do
another. I've even been working on a way to make my first pony fic less
of a pile of unmitigated shit, so it may horrify people on Fimfiction who have
'View Mature' turned on one of the days.
Sounds interesting.should make the female an R63 self insert and ship them both with Rainbow Dash who is an immortal pegacorn.

I frankly can't blame them, to be honest.
The worst non-trollfics I have read revolved around those things.

And no worries. I expect to be misread. Text is poor at conveying irony or sarcasm. But I just can't stand to post nothing but bland literal statements.
