Concerning bobby ray's progress on The Trotting Dead

Hey everyone, how are all of you?

I'd like to start by saying that the chapter is being worked on, but recently bobby has contacted me about very serious issues regarding his family that, as a result, has hindered his progress. Rest assured, he is still determined to finish the next chapter, but it will be a while longer considering the aforementioned problems.

For those interested in taking over my Trotting Dead fic, plus other things

Okay, here it goes... So, just yesterday I finally made myself sit down and work on my Trotting Dead story. It sucks to say that I didn't get very far at all. I was at a loss for ideas, my writing was slow and uninspired, and basically I simply wasn't making any real progress. I guess I've hit a wall, I don't know how to continue with the Trotting Dead, and I've lost almost all of my drive to

    The path ahead is foggy.

Sorry for the cryptic title, but it's kind of true. I just thought I'd let you guys know what's been holding me up recently. College classes for Spring quarter have started up, and English class... let me tell you, English class pulls no punches when it comes to handing out assignments, so that's kept me more than busy. On a more negative note, quite frankly, I've simply lost a lot of what drives

Sorry for the cryptic title, but it's kind of true. I just thought I'd let you guys know what's been holding me up recently. College classes for Spring quarter have started up, and English class... let me tell you, English class pulls no punches when it comes to handing out assignments, so that's kept me more than busy. On a more negative note, quite frankly, I've simply lost a lot of what drives me to write. While I'm unsure of why I feel this way, or where it came from, it's definitely affecting me. I think about working on my pieces and I just cringe, since lately it just feels like a chore. Again, I don't know why I feel this way, but I've been waiting for it to pass. Maybe this has happened to someone else, and they can give me advice, but until I can get this feeling out of my head, I don't think I'd be producing my literary best while in this mindset.

Sorry for making you guys wait on me, I know that quite a few of you have been anticipating the next chapter of The Trotting Dead. However, I have had an offer in the past from one of my readers to take over the story (since I was absent for a while) and if I can't get out of this funk, then that might be the best thing for the fiction. Let me know what you guys think, and I apologize sincerely for all of the trouble. Thank you, though, everyone for all of your support, patience, and understanding!

Kody910 have the same problem, according to his blog updated since the 24th of March. He is trying to find some motivation to keep on his stories.

That goes for me, too. I have several chapters that I haven't read in my favorites and I'm trying to get my mind focus on those stories. You wanna know why? Because of school. That place built in bricks where they teach you anything about what you need to know for your life because it's mandatory. . It's like a barrier, blocking your way from doing anything you do for fun. It infuriates me :twilightangry2: Why can't they give us a break :flutterrage:?! Sure, we are grown-ups, but it's something that we got to deal with it, especially the stuff that keeping us busy.

*sigh* :ajsleepy:

So for that being said, I know what you are feeling, KJ. Every one of us have some work to do in our lives. You don't have to be sorry for your delay, well, since you upload a blog to let us know what you are doing, then you're fine. This is something that I want to express myself about my hard times. About your loss of interest of writing, I have some advice to help you before you're gonna have work for college.

"Don't think about anything you can't do, it sounds negative. You have to have some sense of optimism to think positive things about you can make it through your goal, either if it's big or small. If you become an optimist, you'll have that positive outlook of perseverance where you can never give up, which it is called determination. Once you're stuck with the optimism side, you can complete the difficult tasks you have and earn the capability to engross yourself to have some free time. And don't let that free time go to waste; embrace the good moment to have the time to do anything about your favorite hobbies, like writing fanfics or look at anything that's pony-related. So don't think be negative, be positive"

Follow this one quote from me... "Make optimism and determination... a permanent trait and a habit."

Thank you for reading my comment. I hope this will help you in any way to stay in the bright side.

I'll leave this extra quote-pic behind where I found in reddit.com

I know the feeling KJ. My own original writing comes at a trickle, so it's tough for me to be optimistic at times. That said, I'm going to have to second userground's advice. You should stay focused on your schoolwork, naturally, but hopefully userground will be able to help you out.

Good luck dude. Sorry if I couldn't say anything more substantive. :twilightblush:

Many thanks, guys! I'm glad to have gotten that out there and will do my best to hopefully make time near the other half of the quarter to write. The support and understanding is truly meaningful, so I at least have that to motivate me!
Thanks for everything! :rainbowkiss::pinkiehappy::yay::twilightsheepish:

You did your best to support him with your own words. And thanks for agreeing with me to help KJ to keep on going.

Your quite welcome. I wrote this comment the best as I could for those who desperately need help or when I feel empathetic to help others I care about, like yourself who wrote the one fanfic I really like, The Walking Dead, now that's the greatest idea I've ever heard from a cool videogame. :raritywink:
