Hey guys... KJ here.
How has everyone's Summer been? Mine's been pretty alright.
To start off, I'm happy to say that I have found someone who is interested in taking over The Trotting Dead. I'd like to introduce bobby ray! He hasn't been with Fimfiction for very long, so let's be sure to give him a courteous, warm, brony welcome! You can find his profile here, and when he picks up on the next and further updates, you can follow him or give him any pointers since this will be a newer experience for him. I wanted to give him the existing chapters to post and continue on his own page, but I couldn't find a way to keep the formatting when I would mail him the chapters, therefore, we agreed that he would PM me finished chapters and I would re-format and proofread for him instead of making him re-format everything I've written. I'll be sure to include a link to his profile in each update, so everyone can thank him for his awesome work!
As for Equestria's Peril... I've made the decision to cancel it. I just haven't had the drive to continue it for the longest time, and I don't want to make myself sit down and force chapters because that would simply degrade the quality of my writing. I've also turned my attention to something new in the meantime and with college starting in a few weeks, I may as well cut the line now. I apologize to anyone who have been waiting for an update, but I have no intention to continue. In the future, I may try to write something fresh and new; perhaps a one shot (so I can quit biting off more than I can chew) so for now, I'll leave the writing to bobby ray and all of the other fine authors on this site.
I'm going to be on every now and again to read some of my favorite stories, and that's about all for now. Thanks, friends and acquaintances for all of your support and understanding, and I'll see y'all around.

It's a shame you can't continue The Trotting Dead, but I'm sure you have your reasons. And besides, you're proofreading it! I'm going to follow this new author until the end and enjoy it while giving advise all the while!
