Hello, friends! Welcome back to Hyzaku's Bi-Weekly Reader's Writing Prompts!
It's time once again to challenge my short story skills!
The rules here are fairly simple:
Post a prompt that'd you'd like to see me turn into a short story with no more than 3k words.
I'll have three days to write the story. Once written, I may take a day for editing and touch ups before I post it here.
There is no limit to the number of suggestions you may make, but each one should be a separate post. If there are multiple prompts in a single post and your post is chosen, I will choose whichever one I want from the lot. Remember, more posts means more chances one of your ideas is chosen. Please do not make me regret this.
I'd like to keep things simple with the restrictions as well, so don't get too damned weird on me.
No clop, no incest (CelestiaXLuna may be considered based on the prompt, but not likely).
If anything super squicky gets suggested I'll add it to the ban list.
Rainbow Dash gets VFX powers from Viewtiful Joe and has to save Equestria from old school Equestrian movie villains.
Twilight has been sent to the newly appeared Crystal Empire to help protect it, ala the episode. Celestia finds herself reflecting on how often she has come to rely on her student to fix her mistakes, and how much danger she has put her in already.
Celestia becomes enamored with a book of puns and insists on teaching it to Twilight. Twilight, in turn, finds the whole situation so unbearably unregal that... that after an internal struggle, she goes along with it. She can't bring herself to raise a real objection to her mentor.

A travelling cloud restaurant is passing through Ponyville, and judging by the throngs of pegasi crowding the skies, it's the most awesome thing to happen in Ponyville in ages! So why is Rainbow Dash hiding away in Fluttershy's cottage?
New fashion trend sweeping Equestria: clothes! With the invention of the sewing machine (it finally went mass produced) the amount of affordable clothes increased. Short version: everypony is wearing clothes.

(Comedy) Twilight tries to teach Sweetie Bell how to us her magic while the other crusaders try to sit back and watch.
