I'm sorry I was so late.
Can you guys answer a question for me?
What was your favorite part about Hope in the Storm? What sold it for you that granted me the very blessed presence in my "being watched by" bar? Why do you want to see this to the end? I love you all, I really do, and I want to know why you love, or even remotely like my stories. Thanks, all of you, for sticking with me. I used to be more fun in my posts, and I will be, but I just want you to seriously answer this question.
And, cause I'm interested, what's the best fic you've ever read and why?

The answer is simple for me. I LOVE origin stories. And "Hope in the Storm" is just such a story that truly helps me answer..."What if..."

I've been with you from the start. My reason for following you is because your fic hope in the storm is, to help me put it into simple terms,

Uhhhh... favorite part is when Rainbow Dash is born and gets her rainbow colored mane.
History of Rainbow Dash and family got me hooked, plus it was written good.
You're lucky, I barely read sad stories, because I hate being depressed/crying, i'd rather be filled with an unending bloodrage. (Where I want to kill people in video games.)
Oh yeah, and best fic I ever read was Displacement.....it was AMAAAAAAAAAAAAZING!

I was a big fan of origin stories way back when I found you. This really struck a chord with me by just how believable this would be if it was canonized. I hope that we will still have a strong friendship outside of fimfiction because your still a really cool guy
Favorite fanfic besides yours...I'd say Inner Demons because of the epicness factor.
There were a few things that I loved about hope in the storm one of the biggest was this quote
"Storms bring life to Equestria, and after every storm, there will always be hope.”
This quote was really inspiring to me, because I was going through a storm in my life, and it was great to see this and allow hope and optimism to shine through the storm that was my life.
I also loved reading about Dash's childhood, and this fic was different from most of the stories I've read about Dash's childhood in a good way.
Well, first of all, I'm gonna break away from my usual Muffin-Weird for a bit and say I love you too. You're a fantastic writer, and a great guy and musician.
Secondly, what sold me for HITS was the romance. Plain and simple.
I'm also a sucker for origin stories (X-Men Origins and First Class are my favorite of the X-Men series, Simply Rarity is my favorite fic, etc..)
So, best fic I ever read? Simply Rarity (duh). Amazing story, and aside from the fact that it's an origins story, I don't know why I love it. It's sad and amazing and makes you smile and sob at the same time.
Or maybe that's just me.
Oh well. It's written in a diary style, kinda like The Perks of Being a Wallflower (awesome book, give it a read).
I'm ranting here. Love you, love your show, keep writing man. Stay golden.
It was a really good fic, during a time when I voraciously read every single Rainbow Dash fanfic I could find this one SHONE out at me. It was very well written, had a fantastic concept, and I loved where you went with it, I mean, amnesia is kind of over-done in media, and in fan-fiction in particular, but you really pulled it off. I haven't seen many great origin stories for Dash, but this certainly is. Not to mention it was really emotional and I am a sucker for sadfics.
And hmmm, best fic I have ever read, that's hard... how about two?
The Song of Syhlex by The Descendent This fic is awesome, reading it completely revolutionized my head canon, about Alicorns, Equestrian history, and Celestia in particular. This single-handedly changed my perspective of Celestia, from Luna's much less cool, why-did-you-even-bother-to-show-up sister, to a completely badass God-Princess, easily the equal of Luna, if not the superior. Definitely read it.
Eyes Without a Face by TheyCallMeJub Dark, noir-esque fic starring Roseluck as the Mysterious Mare-Do-Well (kind of). The style of writing in this is so cool, it is immensely gritty and really dark.... and just really cool. This fic pushes the limit in ways I can't even describe, from the main character in particular. I would definitely suggest giving it a read, but only if you can handle a
little bit ofa LOT of dark, and sex/violence
