As I mentioned in a previous blog entry this is one of three new stories of mine that are coming out in the future. I'm still working on my previous stuff, in fact Derpyball is almost done with it's next chapter.
Like I said in that entry, this fic is mostly about the concepts of death and how different people (ponies in this case) feel when somebody you know that has been a part of your life dies, but they were never family or a friend to you. In this case, it was an enemy. The three basic feelings I try to get across are each represented by the CMC. Apple Bloom feels guilty for even wishing horrible things to Diamond Tiara and wonders if she caused her death by doing so. Sweetie Belle is forced to face death for the first time as well as the concept of her own mortality, fearing the nature of death and what may or may not happen. And Scootaloo wonders if it's wrong that she doesn't feel that much from Diamond Tiara's death, having disliked her immensely, but as she soon begins to see that Tiara wasn't who she seemed to be and that while she may not mourn her loss, others do.
This is a story that I wanted to do sometime, see death at the point of a child's view and I hope people will like it.
