As some of you may know, The Division Bell ended yesterday. 11,000 words and seven chapters later, I felt happy that it was finally over.
But something felt missing, did it not? Perhaps you wondered about the revolution Applejack's parents spearheaded. Most of you were confused by the abrupt ending, with the Mane Six jumping from a cliff into the rapids below, while Celestia stood by and watched. Be that as it may, that was the ending I had originally pictured in my mind when I got the idea for this story. Apologies to anyone I may have offended by suggesting that the Mane Six committed suicide.
Some of you were understandably annoyed (dayland and LonelyBrony), while at least one of you had their own idea of what actually happened (Bronyman1995). Rest assured, this story is far from over. As you're reading this, I'm typing the first chapter of the sequel, which takes place a scant month after The Division Bell. I also (eventually) plan to explain the revolution noted in chapter 6 through another story.
I have a fairly good idea of the ending to the sequel, but the chapters are going to be longer than before, and there will be more of them.
I'd like to thank everyone who was a part of this story: Regidar, for prereading the original first chapter; LonelyBrony and zaponator, for editing chapters 4-6; Bronyman1995, for following this story to the end and voicing his own opinions for my personal amusement; and you, the readers, for listening to the story that I had wanted to tell for a few months. Thank you all so much, and I hope you will enjoy Breaking up Is Never Easy, coming soon!

Looking forward to whatever you can come up with next.
Will your next installment be based off of Pink Floyd as well?
943930 Except for scattered references, that would be a "no." Sorry!

944091 TDB already had the lyric gimmick, and I don't want to use it again.
944132 I totally understand.
