I'm a flaming moron

For the first time in Solace in Silence I've hit a troublesome part, I have the next chapter most of the way done it just doesn't feel right so I keep reworking it endlessly. So how have I started to work around this? By starting yet another project...

It's a project I've been attempting to put off for quite some time now, but due to mostly rage have finally started writing. To be direct it's Taviscratch, Taviscratch is a fun pairing and I like them a lot. The problem is there seems to be this trap that because of Allegrezza, everyone seems to think that they have to meet in a bar. There's all sorts of fics out there that just directly rip core concepts from Allegrezza and Two's Company for their Taviscratch. Now that's not to say that's always bad seeing as Two's Company basically ripped its entire premise from Allegrezza. But it proceeded to take it in a completely different direction there afterwards so it was fine.

I've gotten tired of the endless wave of Taviscratch content which is unoriginal, with very little effort put into it. My portrayal of the two is going to be quite... different than what you're used to as I'm using a bit of a different spin on Octavia herself as well as Vinyl.

This all comes down to me being a flaming moron because I'll probably wind up bouncing between these two stories now because I want to write them both, I want to finish them both. But I can't do both at the same time.
