Herculean

The spanish version of Frosted Flakes is called Zucaritas and Tony the Tiger looks freaking intense on the box.

    Magical Site Advertisment

I legit just saw an ad on this website to go watch Schmoyoho on YouTube. I like to listen to them sometimes when I write anyway, so I went and did click on that link. I feel like everyone just won. Feels good.

On an unrelated note, more Hollow to come in the following days.

Daring Don't and the Male/Female Ratio Disparity

I liked the episode, but I just wanted to point out that it explains why there appears to be more females than males in the general pony population: the dudes are all out being minions for evil monsters with oddly specific yet seemingly undesirable goals. I'm just saying.

    Herculean the Snail

You may have noticed that even though I have come back I haven't been very active. This'll probably be the norm from here on out. At the moment, I'm trying to find good stuff to read as a kind-of-sort-of way of getting a feel for different writing styles. I've found I'm pretty picky as to what I like to read or can stand to read for long, so that's slow going too. I just need to dedicate

The Hollow Kingdom of Big Macintosh Act II · 1:41am Mar 4th, 2013

Act I is completed, which means my part for this story is completed. Act II will be handled by a separate author who wishes to remain anonymous until the time he posts Act II starting with Exhibit N. Thank you to all of those who read Act I, I enjoyed the writing process and reading your various comments. This gained a lot of momentum through word of mouth, so thank you to anyone who told a friend about it.

If you have any general questions about the story or any concerns about the change of authorship, feel free to leave them here and I will do my best try and lull you into a false sense of security.

Again, thank you and have a good evening.

Mm, what's the reason for the change? Was it intended from the beginning, or is this a recent development?
Will this be going along with the implied direction of the story for a fair difference in the content in terms of style and pacing?

He's been closely involved in the writing process and this hand-off was planned from the start. The only real reason we have for doing this is simply because we wanted to collaborate on something and this is how we decided it should go.

We're pretty much of one mind on how the story will end, but it is up to him on how it gets there. As for writing style, I can't say whether or not you'll see a notable change. The story isn't really written "my way" or "his way"; we both had to think about what I was doing pretty much the entire time. My only regret is that I feel like I was only just getting the hang of it.

Ah, thank you for taking the time for answering. Will the 'anonymous' updates be continued through your account? Or will there be a new Fimfiction account for this?

Also, do you have any intention for further projects? Solo or collaborate?

My collaborator will be putting it on his own, established account when the time comes. At the time he does so, I'll do my best to point everyone in his direction. If for some reason he drops off the map or time is getting on so we decide that Act II should not be a separate story, I'll make that known.

As for me personally, I'm working on a solo piece right now. I'm waiting until it has substantial meat on its bones before I put it up, but I don't imagine it will take too long.

Very interesting. I haven't read it yet, but I'll give it a read.

Hey man, as long as the quality remains so mind-bending-ly excellent, I'm cool with a different author taking the helm. Can't wait to see more!
