If you're reading this because you thought it would be about a crossover, then you are very mistaken and should then stop reading. If not, then read as you please.
So, I just realized it's been a while since I've written anything (even though I have a grand total of 4 stories). The reason, plain and simple, is Mass Effect. I have been playing the buck out of those games recently. I've played through the entire series twice now, and I replayed ME3 about 3 or 4 times now. It's just so awesome!
And that's the reason why I haven't been writing-... Oh shit! I still have a collab to finish! (I just remembered this while I was writing). *facehoof/palm*
I'll get back to writing soon.
That's not the only reason I wrote this, though. I wanted to know if there was anyone else here that played the Mass Effect series- preferably the whole thing, including 3. I wanted to know because there is know one else I know that plays or likes it, so I have no one to talk to about it. So if you do play it, then feel free to comment or something.
Also, I just got to the part where Thane dies in ME3 and I. Bucking. Cried... like a man, of course.
I played all of them and loved all of them... was bloody sad Thane's death, even Mordin's and Legion's made me shed a manly tear
When Thane died I cried. It was one of the saddest moment in game history. Just like when Mordin died, my god how I loved that Salarian!
Word of advice - Before going to the Quarian fleet, be sure you have at least 4 bars of reputation, otherwise you won't be able to save both the Quarians and Geth.
Mass effect is the only reason that I can see that makes scene for you not writing a new chapter on Your dreams.
850290 That it is, my friend. I really was not expecting it to be that sad. I hated the fact that Mordin died, too. He was probably the coolest scientist I've ever seen.
850348 Thank you!
850933 Yeah, funny thing about that. The reason I haven't continued writing that series yet- and this makes even less sense now that I say it out loud- is because my writing style has changed so much that I was afraid the story would sound completely different. Also, I realized that the way I was writing it was way too fast paced and kind of took away from the story I was trying to illustrate.
So if you don't mind a little change to the style, then I'll try and get back to finishing it

there is one sadder moment in gaming history that gets over looked often. Celes's attempted Suicide in Final Fantasy 6. Trust me, the reasoning behind it is way, way sadder than Thane Dying. I would say the sequence at the end of the first disc of 7 buut, FF6's scene has so much more emotion and reasoning behind it, dont believe me? go play/watch it for yourself
Mass Effect 3.......awesome?! Well yeah, the middle and begining, but the end? I wated to jump out my window!
