I'm Back! Christmas, New Stories, and One Piece! · 7:54pm Dec 22nd, 2013
I'm back! And I finally finished my project (by finished, I mean I said "screw it, this is as much as I'm going to get done.")
My project consists of five stories which I am going to publish one day at a time from now until Christmas. It features a fluffy sad Nightmare Moon/Luna story, a heartwarming Vinyl/Octavia slice-of-life, all leading up to the first romance fic I've written, starring the best ship ever! (You'll have to read it to find out who. Wouldn't want to spoil the surprise.)
The first story was published today, called My Little Star. Read it!
I know it's been a very long time since I've written anything, but I've been extremely busy, and I've banned myself from reading any fics thus far in order to force myself to finish these stories. I'm going to start writing chapters on And We Danced again, probably start writing other stories, and working on the revision to Your Dreams.
Now, on to a less pony related topic. As you may or may not know, I am a very big fan of One Piece. In light of recent events in the series, and a certain character coming back from the dead,- If you read the manga, then you know what I'm talking about, otherwise you may have to search for a few spoilers- I've decided to write my first One Piece fanfiction. This doesn't really have anything to do with the latest happenings in the show, so if you're not far in, don't worry about spoilers or anything. It stars our favorite revolutionaries: Monkey D. Dragon and Bartholomew Kuma!
Here's a little preview!
“Kuma! Kuma, listen to me!” Dragon shouted at his friend as the frightful marching of the marines and the shouting of orders sounded in the background. Dragon grabbed the sobbing Kuma by the shoulders. “Kuma, tell me what happened!”
Kuma tried to hold in the tears, but was nevertheless racked with sobs. He spoke as best he could, relaying what had just happened to him. “I-I-I p-pushed Edmund because he was p-picking on me again, and I s-stood up for myself j-just like you said, b-but when I pushed him, h-he just-... he just-...”
The child began to sob again and Dragon grew only more anxious as to what had happened between Edmund and his friend. “Kuma...” he said in a softer voice. “What happened?”
Kuma bit down to hold back his tears for another moment. “He-... he disappeared!”
Honestly, I don't know how many of you even watch One Piece, but I thought I would at least post this somewhere.
This is going to be posted on Fanfiction.com and I'll post the link when it's finished.
Anyways, merry early Christmas, Hearth's Warming, or whatever holiday you celebrate.
