And I must say that I liked the way the show is going, BUT WHY ALL THE GODDAMN SINGING?! THE SINGING! I HATE SINGING AND THERE'S A SONG EVERY TWO FUCKING MINUTES! IT RUINED THE EPISODE FOR ME!

i agree completely i watched it and the first few songs were great then suddenly the next and the next then the next one OMG too many songs it made almost embarrassed(almost) to listed to that many songs but i preserved!!!
well at least Derpy's reappearance made up for all the songs......
out of the 7 songs, I believe there were only 2 I liked: the Cutie Mark one and True, True Friend
but yeah.... half of the episode written by Daniel Ingram? might have been a bit too much. (please note that if Season 3 woulda had a 2-parter finale, it probably would have been split up a bit)
Well I don't mind so much singing, this episode was more likely musical for me. But why oh why this all was so rushed, plot was almost non-existing not to mention that this spell of Starswirl was made to do... what exactly?

I'm pretty sure it was meant to be a 2 parter but didn't and they still had these songs laying about, but its good that all the sings are good though
I didn't even watch it, but from everyones reactions and hearing that it's a bunch of songs and that Twilight becomes an alicorn for a retarded reason, and that only supposedly Unicorns can become Alicorns, makes me hate it.
Oh yeah and that rage video made me laugh like hell.
to tell you the truth. I thought most episodes this season were pretty shitty. or maybe its just me.
