"Magical Mystery Cure" and "The Maker"

The shoe has finally dropped and Twilight Sparkle has been crowned. So what does that mean for "The Maker?" Well, for now, nothing. Based on what I saw in the episode its self and the information gleaned from interviews with the show's creative team, the fundamentals of the show will be intact, but other developments are yet to come. For example, Tara Strong specifically stated that Twilight will remain in Ponyville and that her character, while having more capacity and challenges, will stay essentially the same. On the flip side, Meghan McCarthy has said that Magical Mystery Cure is only the first part of a three-part story, implying that the ramifications of Twilight's coronation will come in the first two episodes of season 4. Seeing as how we have months of lead time before the new season airs, and how I don't want to lose the ideas I have, I'm thinking that I will continue "The Maker" as it stands then make the re-writes when the new continuity is revealed. I'm thinking I might add a few details here and there and I will be writing the story with Twilight's new station in mind, but there shouldn't be any major overhauls until the cannon details are shown.
