All current incomplete stories are on an indefinite hiatus. Why? Because I just don't give a damn about any of these stories any more.
People want to know why my story is lacking a "writing style"? Why it isn't "engaging"? Why half the time it comes out as telling and not showing?
Because it's a frickin' fanfic. It's quick stuff. It's not meant to be taken seriously. Just enjoy the story and stfu. All writers make mistakes. And that's why when you write something serious and send it off to prospective agents, there are editors.
This was just for fun. But I've really just lost the passion and motivation right now, for these fanfics. Which is sad, because they used to make me so happy and excited.
Just not feelin' the ponies as much any more.

I for one really enjoyed reading your stories but its understandable to want to stop writing since so many others put your stories down or say you didn't do something right. I wish you the best of luck on what you choose to do. *raises glass* Here's to the future
Ultimately, a fanfic writer should write their stories for the most exclusive target audience - themselves. That's not to say that it isn't fun to appeal to others as well, but if *you* aren't enjoying the story then that's just wrong.
I've been following your stories and will miss seeing them updated, but that's not the most important thing. Take a break. Hopefully someday (maybe even soon) the writing itch will return and you'll enjoy this stuff again, but don't push it. We'll survive the absence and still be following if you resume.

Thank you. You're right, it's always been writing for myself, and I always felt so happy when writing these stories. But right now that happy feeling has faded. So you're right, I'm taking a break. If I had really given up, everything would have been canceled. This is just a step back. :)

Don't leave, how else would I ever find out about the endings of the Post-Reception triology.
I mean what become of the main stars of the Reception triology storyline...Twilight Sparkle.
And what is to become of the Skyfall series now that the Elements are alive and awaken ?
I mean honestly, your stories were one of the very few I always cannot wait read each time I come on this website.
And that was due to he creative originality of the each story that was also full of engaging plot lines and action.
Whoever is discouraging you doesn't know great storytelling like I do. You are a great and talented writer and you should never NEVER give up without a fight. Especially when it comes to stories like yours.
Whenever you do return to writing these wonderful tales... Know that I'll be here waiting for you to read my thoughts on them.
