Took a while getting Chapter 10 out to you guys, and you can see why. At over 20,000 words, it's almost two chapters in itself, and DEEPLY important to the story.
The story, by the way, which is NOT over. Not even close, so put out that torch :-)
Nah, if this were the end, there would at LEAST be an epilogue. I'm not THAT much of an asshole.
I know there are going to be a number of you who will be at odds about this chapter. I've got at least two people rage-quitting on me already in the comments, and while it's a blow, I expected this might happen. But a memorable story takes risks. Black Equinox would be much less for not taking risks. I'm sorry if some of you are upset, but if you can bear with me a little, Black Equinox might just surprise you. I know, things probably seem less than ideal, but like Celestia said in this chapter, trust that I have the situation well in hoof ;-)
At any rate, thanks for sticking with me for 10 chapters! Landmark stuff, I tell you, and more to come! Including a special form of media I've got cooking for Black Equinox! Will be a real treat ^_^
well im not going to rage quit like others. things really changed this chapter but im staying till the end.
