A List of Pet Peeves (starring David Ten-inch) - a result of boredom

Hm, perhaps the title was a bit misleading. I absolutely do, in fact, love him to pieces.

Is there a point to this blog?

The answer is simple. Hell no. (When do my blogs ever having points to them anyways?)

But I will provide a list of my pet peeves for future reference.

How to: Save your ass when emailing a research paper you didn't do.

Have you been procrastinating on writing a paper because you were too busy playing Bioshock Infinite?

Watching and re-watching episodes of poni/(insert random show name here) and Doctor Who?

Doing things that you definitely weren't supposed to?

    Damn right, you were.

to show how much I love the princesses.

I found this cute little comic. Or maybe my chinese and humanities classes combined with pony are getting to my head.

My, look at me: being a nerdy, sentimental freak who looks these sorts of things up.

If you'll excuse me, I'll go cry in a corner. Because I have nothing better to do in my life.

Or maybe I'll read some clop or something. ...Yeah, I'll do that.

Sounds like a plan, and cool observation.

Awesomeeeee:pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:

Interesting.

Great use of symbolism, espeically linking cultures and relativeness to a Unifed Equestria. Now that is Harmony.
I feel a great amount of swag in the comments box.

"Ming" literally means 'brilliant'.
However, the character thing is a bit irrelevant by the way Chinese words are written. But, a stunning observation indeed.

Have we met?:twilightoops:
I believe you were trying to refer to this guy: 791028 (sorry for giving you away btw!)

You could just do both at the same time...:applejackunsure::trollestia::moustache:

Besides, there's nothing wrong with being a sentimental sap. Heck, this track is one of my favorites!:

Beautiful analogy with their names by the way.

I only knew half to the meanings since I'm in japanese, Nichi for sun and Tsuki for moon, but I don't know how they're pronounced together in Japanese. NOW TO SEARCH :D

:rainbowhuh: Bruh, I never even thought about this!

Damn you for being so intellectual.

...By the way, did we have humanities homework? :rainbowderp:

Saw this on My Little Brony.

Shit's awesome. :rainbowwild:

791003 A free hug? I'll take it! :pinkiehappy:

791007 God damn it, that's the fourth time you've hug ambushed me today! :rainbowlaugh: ...Don't stop. :duck:

791150 I hardly ever go there though.

791015 *Yin :twilightsheepish: I like it, and nice blog based off of this!

791030 Pffft, there's a brony for everything. I'll read it from time to time, but I don't... is there a female 'clop' verb? Whatever it is, I don't do it. :rainbowwild:

791006 790996 791015 Heh. That's why I posted this!

791144 Cool! Was there any relevance?

791134 Mission accomplished! :rainbowdetermined2:

791147 Fyrefly! You're such an idiot! :rainbowlaugh: Weren't you listening in class? We have to write that MLA essay on which chess piece is the most powerful piece on the board and what it reflects in the Middle Ages. It's due tomorrow. Ms. Wren'll kill you if you don't have it!

791008 25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8x8v0PhPQ1qkn03yo1_500.gif Ladies gotta stick together. :raritywink:

Hmmm... cry in a corner, or read some clop.... I... I don't know how to respond to your answer...

792102 *shrug* Due tomorrow, do tomorrow.

Ms. Wren can go play with her cats. Or herself. Whichever one is least furry.

792122 Sometimes I wonder what's going on in your head. You're so messed up! ...That's probably why you're my best friend. :ajsmug:

THIS ARE HIDDEN MESSAGES

Ming dynasty, why you no leave me alone after World History AP?

Back on topic though: That's really cool. I tell you, those Chinese are onto something... now if only I could take the time to learn several thousand characters and learn to speak Chinese. Judging from my reaction to several years of Spanish, I doubt I'd have the endurance to learn something else (although Latin or German seems a bit more interesting IMO. Who knows?)

hmm, I wonder...:trixieshiftleft:

nah, it's probably just a coincidence...

still, damn, that is a brilliant observation, truly brilliant

794827 Memorizing the characters is the worst part. :facehoof:

812151 Thanks! Although the true credit goes to whoever made this on My Little Brony!

813598

Yeah, my AP History teacher gave a whole lecture on it early on in the year. Granted, if you can memorize the characters, then you can communicate with anyone else regardless of verbal dialects.

814961 True. What really rubs me the wrong way is that the kids never study, and then mooch the answers off of me during the test.

Maybe if they'd just stop being lazy fat asses and actually did something, they would stop wondering why they aren't even in the top 50% rank. They look at my 2% rank and think it happens without doing work. Honestly... :facehoof:

[rant]

Ha, my thoughts exactly, although I am a hypocrite. Also, I know how you feel about those people who ask for answers. AP Biology was the epitome of slackers, although they cleared out after the first semester. I'll be very honest when I say I'm more than capable of being #3 or #4 in my class (and there are a lot of people in my grade who are very competitive) if I were to actually take all of my core classes seriously, but I settle for top 10% around the #13 spot just because I don't have the urge to study for the English-classes or Gov/Economic/History classes (a problem I've had for a majority of high school.). Yeah, I still have a 107.5 point average with that nice 10% bonus for the AP classes and dual credit but I just have no need to really try. Mathematics and the sciences (and ponies, of course) are literally my life, and I've never really required any amount of studying for them (besides, that gets accomplished when I read the course books in order to prepare myself for state science events and other competition-based events). The only issues I've really had are teachers getting mad at me for "slacking" or "working on extracurricular events" in class, and apparently a 96 average in an AP class isn't enough to cut it :|. Apparently they have "high expectations" for me and want me to understand the importance of a "well-rounded" mind when I have a job. Let's get real: I'm going into an Engineering field (Biochemical, Aerospace, Chemical, Nuclear, something) and I'm pretty sure they could care less if I knew who Jane Austin was. Am I stereotyping the literature arts? Probably. Do I dislike them? Yes.

[/rant]

YES! Another brony with a love for Chinese history!
It's interesting how the Ming dynasty was so successful despite its founder being a bit of a paranoid jerk.

822930 What can I say? I'm half Chinese! :pinkiehappy:

Plus, I saw this, and I knew my humanities teacher was a partial brony. I ended up showing this to him today.

Needless to say, I'm fairly sure he's converted all the way. :raritywink:

Yes! Our numbers are growing!

822962 He joined the herd! :rainbowwild:

I even made him do a brohoof.
