After doing some research on the allicorn Twilight, I found something very interesting...

An upcoming episode is called 'Magical Mystery Cure', the description being, and I quote:

When Twilight casts a spell that switches the Cutie Marks and destinies, the only way to reverse the spell is by writing her own magic.

With that being said, Twilight will still become an allicorn and a princess, but she will not stay like that.

Her Cutie Mark must get replaced by either Celestia's or Luna's, making her a princess and an allicorn for a short time.
