Nation, I believe that it is time to bring the Element of Truthiness to the Youtubes. Simple fact is that a guy who thinks Trixie is best pony is more popular than me, and we all know that this can’t stand. Despite my firm belief in the fact that I myself built my entire studio and show, I must admit that I need help. The Coltbert Nation cannot survive without me... and to a certain extent... you.
I have currently hired one writer from the depths of the fanfiction universe in order to supply the script for this production. Together, with your help, we can give the gift that keeps on giving: me.
Below is the current list of people that are needed for the production. Considering I need to have everything be completely original (theme song, VAs, etc), there is going to be a ridiculous amount of room in the project.
Writers: 1-3, possibly more if the project takes off. Preferably one with a satirical mind that is willing to build worlds through comedic scenes and characterization.
Script Editors: 1-3
Voice Actors: 3 (for the time being. Guests will be interchangeable with new VAs for every guest)
Musicians: As many as needed. (To create the Coltbert Report theme song and songs for the segments)
Sound Effect Artists: 1-3 (For sound effects if needed)
Animators: As many as freaking possible. Preferably Flash so that the project remains close to the show.
Background Artists: As many as needed. The backgrounds are going to be for storyboarding purposes.
Storyboard Artists: As many as needed to storyboard the scenes. The Director and Writers will be able to convey the scenes more accurately to reduce revisions.
Audio Mixers: 1-3 (To mix up everything in the show. VA lines, music, sound effects, etc etc)
