ok time to finally get started · 10:18pm Jan 16th, 2013
so, after some self revelation (and digging myself out of the hole of self-pity i buried myself in) i have finally come to the point where i shall begin again and i know just how to take a step in the right direction
write a story.
i have for time immemorial looked upon the stories i have read (fantasy only, i never really liked fiction or thrillers as much as fantasy) with amazement
and envy.
with this self revelation came a thought. "why envy?"
my first answer "because i can't do that"
and then i asked "why can't you?"
"because im not good enough"
"you think that the short things you have written are bad?"
"they aren't great"
"you think that they where great from the start?"
and that was when it really hit me. no. of course they have not always been great at writing. sure they may or may not have been better at it from the start but as in all things, talent is not enough. you can't be that level of great if you don't work for it. how would i work for it then? try writing a story and see where that takes you. who the hell knows? maybe it's good?
and like that i have now decided that i would really like to write something but i need help. i have a few ideas in my head of stories that i could and would like to write but i am aware of that writing 5 different stories at once would be too much. so, to the few that will see this, under are what the titles and the descriptions will look like for the stories that i have in my head. if you would take the time to read them and tell me which one seems the most interesting i would be most grateful. i like all the ideas of these stories equally so it does not matter to me which one gets picked.
so now, without further distractions, i present to you. the stories!
Trixie's orchestra
(does not include season 3 events)
after Trixie collapses on the road after fleeing ponyville she meets a mare who has found a musical secret about the brain and magic. she sees potential where others saw failure and decides to become Trixie's teacher in her unorthodox method of magic. however, Trixie is not the only one that will learn the ways on music. another tune in taking place in the back streets of trottingham. a mad march is coming, walking in the rhythm of a mad noise
the stars chosens
HiE story.
"on the longest day of the thousandth year the stars will aid in her escape, and she will bring about nighttime eternal" that was the prophesy that foretold the return of nightmare moon. what the ponies missed to understand was that the prophesy was not truly about nightmare moon but rather the stars themselves. first was discord, second was nightmare, third was sombra and forth was chrysalis. they have all failed their master and they have finally found their replacements.
bioshock equestria (needs better title)
after rapture was damned to the bottom of the sea Eleanor and the 6 little sisters with her decide that it is time to find their utopia. however, the teleportation plasmid was always a unstable one and one little misstep can send you wildly off course. but there is something else that leaves rapture before its end, a man that found rapture and took it for his own. a man who has spent the years experimenting, and perfecting all the flaws that rapture's scientists failed to correct. this man along with his lieutenants want a fresh world where they can live as gods and that will do little to resist them.
the dream of today
mostly OC and they are diamond dogs at that
Archimedes is a diamond dog who has a dream. that his people will end their ways as slavers and join the ponies as equals, sharing knowledge, art and trade. the dream is a distant one however as most packs use slaves as cheap labor end has done for ages. this will be the story of how one diamond dog runt managed to change an entire civilization.
(i have honestly no idea how long this one would be, there is simply so much that would needed to be done and it would probably take a long time to write it but if i get it out like i would want to hen by whatever force is out there, it would be worth it)

equestria is in chaos. discord seems to have escaped and is using some new tool to summon all kinds of deadly creations, monsters and soldiers to put equestria to its knees. the mane 6 must find a way to stop the havoc by destroying whatever tool discord is using.
but will it truly be that simple?
well, that was that. these are the ideas i have for what i can and want to write. any and all opinions, advice and suggestions will be taken seriously and will be considered.

I never really liked the Diamond Dogs, but if you can somehow make this story memorable... That would be awesome. Best of luck!
