A very angry update · 7:45pm Jan 10th, 2013
Well, this struck a nerve.
I'm currently in a rental house with about eight other people. We pay rent, utilities, the usual college stuff. Most of you know have the gist of what I'm talking about. The problem comes in that I just found out that the landlord is behind about 1,000 on rent and utilities.
I haven't been angry for some time. I'm not angry now, but I am close.
This is just a forewarning to all my fans. I've been pretty good about sticking to my schedule, but I'm currently looking for a new place to live now. I still have a place right now, but I'm not staying if someone's not paying their dues. Granted, it may not be our primary's fault; one of the guys here is a super flake when it comes to bills and paying them on time. Regardless of the truth, I don't want to stick around for this drama. Because I'm looking for a new place, I may not be able to spend as much time writing as I have been. Chapter 18 of At the End is written in its entirety and will be posted on time, but I'm not sure about after that. I'm still scripting the next three chapters, and looking for a news place is going to eat some hours for sure.
I love you guys and girls, so I'm giving you a warning ahead of time I may not be able to keep my schedule for long.

Actually, something akin to that post is how I got my username. Long ago, I created a story about a bard that traveled and gathered stories. Since he never stayed in once place for too long - he didn't age - he earned the name "Journeyman." I'll make a post about my brony origins sometime and include the full story.

No, no, I'm not talking about the actor, I'm talking about the primal god of Fear and Power. For someone with supposedly incredible amounts of information at your disposal, you seriously don't seem to know as much as I do... but then, I've seen how the world ends, and how it begins.

I find it funny that a blog about rent turned into a debate about power and immortality.
Personally, I find immortality to be an incredibly boring attribute unless characters either have some sort of struggle with it, or their acceptance causes problems somehow. If a guy's seen shrugging off fatal wounds a few days later, he's probably going to be burned as a witch or something.

And the issues with immortality in a normally mortal race are often overlooked: If you live forever, what happens when you run out of memory space?
Anyhow, if you're cool with possibly doing a three-way immortal characters chat here, would you like to join in? I think a chat from three separate views of True Immortality/Eternality, while staying in character the whole way, would be an interesting writing exercise.
