About Equestria in Flames, Secret Stuff and New Year Wishes · 8:05pm Jan 1st, 2013
Hi there, guys!
Equestria in Flames... well, this is my first story, first written in English, but still. It's suprising me, that this story has good score, considering how bad I'm using foreign language. I want to thank you again guys, for all support you gave to me.
Okay, let's talk about it. First of all, from what idea of writing Warhammer 40.000 tabletop cross-over came from? Reasons are three :
1. Epic Pony Rap Battles of History. From this came idea of "ponies dueling".
2. Miniwargaming.com. From this came idea of "Battle Reports".
3. http://www.fimfiction.net/story/75/ponies-play-dd. From this came idea of Tabletop stuff.
But, at first this story looked totally different. First idea was to write One-Shot story ( about 8000-10000 words ) heavily similar to Ponies Play DD. But I abandon it soon enough, because it was too similar to Ponies Play DD. Second idea was to "focus" on Reason Number One. So it was looking like this : "Every chapter was another battle, without deep explanations with famous questions for the end : Who win? and Who next?" But this idea failed too, so i decided to make a serious ( kidding ) plot and actually make it Adventure. Why in the end i chose this one? Because it gave me the biggest field to unleash extremely big amount of jokes about /tg/, Warhammer, some flaws from MLP and other. Actually, I think that I will not abandon idea with Epic Pony Battle Reports of History, and it will appear in part in the next chapters.
Now, secret stuff. I'm working on second Cross-Over with WH40k, but this one will be dead serious. I write it slowly, because, comparing to this one I want to make 100% perfect. I will not publish any part of it soon, because I really want to make this one perfect + I'm searching for really good one cover art, and I can't find one, that fits idea of this story. I can also tell you, that same as Equestria in Flames, main idea of this story is really original.
Also, I'm informing that next Act of the Equestria in Flames will be published in three days or earlier.
Okay, and now new year. Well... It's first time I wish this stuff in English... ( it can be bad ).
