Tonight an arbitrary numbering system tells us that a year has passed and a new one is beginning.
(assuming you live in a place that uses the 'Common Era' calendar, if you don't you've probably heard the rest of us going on about it)
This is my first New Year since discovering ponies, so I'm taking a moment to consider how finding them, and through them the fandom, has affected my life.
It helped me keep my sanity through a pretty stressful time, and perhaps helped me hold onto some faith in humanity.
Most of all, the fans of this show are awesome - thank all of you for making it something I feel proud to be a part of.
I am terrible when it come to New Years resolutions, but this year I think I've got one I can manage: I'm going to keep looking for the best in everyone I meet, and remember that everything is fixable.

My new years resolution is to update my story at a consistent pace, as well as start a new story.
I'll start working on that tomorrow.
