Finally, Some Good News · 7:40pm Dec 31st, 2012
This morning, I have received my laptop, which is functioning like normal once again, and as of about 15 minutes ago, I have installed all necessary updates and (most) software that was previously lost. For those reading my stories, this does not mean I will begin writing again right away. With FIMFiction's new look, it has altered the look of my stories as well (lines that separate scene changes and flashbacks spill into the next line, etc). This means that I'm going to proofread my stories to fix these issues and other grammatical or spelling errors that I find, so it will again be some time before you all see new chapters in my stories.
As for why I said most software, I was hoping to get Microsoft Office or Open Office installed onto my computer. However, my dad left the Microsoft disk with the product code back in Saudi Arabia. Hopefully, once he returns, he can just send me the code so I can re-install it, but hopefully, there will be enough installs left on the disk or the code itself is valid, but I will cross that bridge when I come to it; I hope for the best. Another problem is that for some reason or another, Open Office will not install onto my computer, which means that if the Microsoft Office installation doesn't pan out, I will have only 30 days of my Microsoft Word trial before I have to either shell out a hundred quid for a new Microsoft Office or convince HP to reimburse me for my lost software. Again, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
