A Scootaloo · 8:22am Dec 31st, 2012
you walk into a room to see a slouched Scootaloo fluttering her wings softly. She doesn't notice you at first, her focus locked on the carpet beneath her hooves. She sighs deeply and gives a backward glance at her wings. Her lip quivers slightly as she turns away from them. You notice tears forming in the corners of her eyes as she thumps her head softly against the wall.
"I'll never be like her," she says shakily
Wat do?
Slowly back out of the room and cry.... then come back in and give her the biggest hug ever
GIVE HER THE BIGGEST HUG IMAGINABLE. Then things get awkward cause you have no idea how to console her and your hugging her tightly.
Wonder how she got in without alerting you
Give her an impossibley big hug, then tell she can be just as awesome as Rainbow Dash and still be herself.
Because Scootaloo is best pony.
I'm not sure how I would approach this matter. I would most likely alert her of my presence, and after talking to her for a bit, I would likely attempt to give friendly advice. Whatever happens next would simply happen.
This isn't, perchance, a clever ruse on getting inspiration for another story is it not?
Being a proper gent is fun! and is something I've been doing all day for reasons unknown to even me.
665154 Oh no, I was demonstrating to a friend how body motion can portray emotions very powerfully, and this was the result. Although, I'm curious as to what EXACTLY you would say to her to cheer her up.
"Nope. Because you aren't her Scoots. Tis good to have a roll model and all that jazz, but you still need to be an individual." And then a tip of my hat, and a walking away. Because really, I hate children.

I honestly have no idea. I would likely be very strange and awkward. and rather annoying. I might give good advice in the end though. I'm told I give good advice sometimes.
Wonder why Chrome's middle name is the same as my best friend's first name...
I would alert her of my presence then try and cheer her up with encouragement and advice. But, most likely I'd fail at that and have to fall back to my sense of humor to cheer her up.
well.. depends on one thing mostly.. am i a human or a pony?
if i'm a pony i would prolly try to cheer her up in some way..
BUT if i'm human i would most likely try to use her as a bargaining chip to go to/stay in equetria..
yeah.. i'd go there and i'd no regrets...
>rape
Were you expecting something else with that question? Too much poni thread simulators
665155 This is actually why I hate it when people take what I say, and use it against me, when they were in another room, with a wall in-between. My dad does it all the time and it really pisses me off because he can't see the other 2/3rds of the conversation.
Well, knowing me, she wouldn't have time to say anything in the first place, but assuming I don't completely nerd out, we would probably just sit there for a couple seconds before I gave her the most awkward hug known to man.
And then I would cry. And she would cry. It would basically be this awkward, messy crying thing. I'm, uh... I'm not so great at the whole comforting thing.
