I realize that a lot of you may not have the best faith in me right now (a situation I sincerely hope to fix in the next few days *crosses fingers*), but I have to plug a story.
First Dawn is a wonderful story about Fluttershy getting "The Talk" after receiving her cutie mark. Yes, it's rated mature. Yes, it has a sex tag and features Fluttershy with an OC (Fluttershy's older sister, Snowdrift). NO, there is not any incest or foalcon. There is a little bit of sex (more specifically, clopping), but it's organic and it just works. I don't want to spoil too much of what happens, but just trust me and go read it.
Besides, can you say "no" to this face?

Thank you! *hugs*
I hope you folks don't mind me explaining why I had to write the story.
Two words: challenge accepted. I say that school is really the wrong place for sex ed. If you get that class in America, you'll be "treated" to one of two things:
- a bullshit right-wing class that seems utterly horrified that in a few years these children might have sex. *ugh!*
- a bullshit left-wing class that has the balls to call itself "comprehensive" and then soft-pedals really important stuff like the psychology of attachment, fertility awareness (by itself, it's better than some chemical birth-control methods), and the fact that if girls wait longer for sex, it's less likely to hurt the first time. (Really! This omission particularly sickens me.) They sugarcoat sex and hate babies.
I can't imagine ponies subjecting their foals to that... well, isn't it almost child abuse? If you shift perspectives.
And of course, there's the elephant in the room: teens actually learn sex from porn. So, I decided to write something in which "sex" isn't a subject or an activity, but a part of somepony's sexual [and psychological] anatomy. Where mares do have a good, earthy, (to them) non-offensive name for their parts.
(fixed serious derp there...)
And where a pubescent mare can be a little sexy and a lot adorable and very clearly too-young-to-be-available-just-yet.
I didn't expect anyone to get it, much less like it. It was just the story I had to write.

Huh. Wow. That was a very well thought out series of thoughts. You have convinced me to read your story. OK then. Thanks for writing it.
I think I have to read it just for the face... I do.
