Genre Tag changes and bonus chapters · 4:15am Feb 24th, 2012
Okay guys, so a little bit of news on whats been going on.
First of all, I am burned out after plugging out my contest submission. I'm not even sure if it's actually in either. I got the E-Mail notification that it was entered, but I was working on it right up to the wire, I literally submitted it with less then three minutes on the count down. XP I haven't seen it pop up while reading and voting on submissions either, and I have no way to link to it to see if how it's doing or if it's even up. Needless to say, I feel spent, and I'm still reading through as many submissions as I can. If you haven't been voting, you should definitely check out the line up. Some of the fics are absolutely spectacular, others... Well, Let's just say we have moon banishings for a reason. Still, the good ones are worth shifting through the shlop for.
On a lighter note, I know exactly what I'm going to do for the next chapter. On a sadder note, I can't bring myself to write anything coherently enough to work on the next chapter. On another lighter note, my submission for the contest LOOSELY ties in with "Dream's of Loyalty" so you'll all be able to enjoy it as a sort of bonus chapter once the contest is over. On a sadder note again, the competition still has a few days left.
Now as to Genre Tag changes, it has come to my attention that "Dreams of Loyalty has been taking some turns down the "Dark" tag lately. I'll also admit that things are going to get a bit worse for our heroes before they get better. Don't get me wrong here, they are going to get better, but you guys have yet to see Dash's actual nightmare or its repercussions on her, and that has me worried. I really don't want to add the dreaded "Dark" tag to my beloved story, but its becoming increasingly difficult to keep the "Comedy" tag with out it to balance it out. So, I have reached a concussion.
I should "Comedy" tag, and letting my baby fly on only "Romance" and "Adventure." I think this will keep things a bit more honest about the story's contents. I'm afraid there will be a slight drop in new views with out the allure of the friendly yellow "Comedy" tag, but its better then having to add the terrifying "Dark" most of us avoid like the plague. Let me know what you think. I probably won't be making any changes until I'm ready to post chapter 10, so it will be a while.
