Finale Incoming · 6:25pm April 24th
The season six finale for My Little Pony: When Friendship Shimmers - Reboot will be incoming soon. As per the norm, the season finale gets turned into a massive movie, and this one turns out much different than the original timeline since Marina the Merciless was a thing in this timeline which caused massive issues with Chrysalis thus preventing her from being the season six villian.
However, regular readers will know I've already did an alternative with tying Storm King; the villain from "My Little Pony: The Movie"; and giving him a relationship with Lightning Town a prominent location in this timeline that was the focus of not just the current season of Season six, but also the previous season of Season Five as well.
I think that making the Storm King have ties with Lightning Town and giving Lightning Town a very heavy presence in the past two seasons as well as some of the history of Lightning Town has really sold the Storm King as the new Season Six villain. Throwing Nozrog into the mix by having him work with the Storm King to give him an even bigger presence and foreshadowing for Season Six's finale, has really helped make this more than just an AU of "To Where and Back Again" as well as an AU of "My Little Pony: The Movie", but really drive home the severity of the situation with what's fully at stake if Storm King & Nozrog win.
I know it's going to be obvious that the Storm King will lose, but how I'm going to go about having him lose, is going to take a drastic left turn. Let's just say, there's already a hint in the penultimate episode of Season Six when I made it clear that there's something that's scarring Throste; a character from the story who has been shown previously, to have the inability to get scarred. So the fact that I'm making him have this strangely out of character moment of something scarring him, means I got something big planned.
I can't wait to watch the explosion. Though at the same time, I'm also not looking forward to the explosion. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend at long last...
