Chapter 10 Update · 8:32pm April 21st
Happy Spring, every-pony! Well, the eclipse happened over where I live, and I got to witness it! I must say, the corona of an eclipse is much brighter than pictures can convey. The darkness itself was fascinating, like evening coming early, and we heard crickets start their chorus. We can only speculate what their reaction to daylight five minutes later was. And Venus was clearly visible with the sun obscured by the moon.
On an unrelated note, let’s discuss my Nightmare Moon fic.
Chapter Ten has finally been typed up. I have printed it off, and am preparing to begin my red lining process on it. It is 6160 words long, and covers 15 pages. While that seems like a lot (most one shots tend to be they length) it’s actually the shortest chapter I’ve written so far (Chapter 4 is the same length, but it and 5 were originally just one chapter that had to be broken for time). Chapter Eleven, meanwhile, already looks like it’s going to make up for that. I have it fully summarized, so all I need to do is write it down. I have only 3 and a half pages 📄 written down. I’m hoping to be at least a fourth of the way through by the time I release the new update.
As to when it will be posted, I’m thinking May. I’m working two jobs, so time to write / re-vise is limited. But I believe the next post will definitely happen along with the next update.
Thanks for bearing with me every-pony!
