Another update · 1:35pm March 9th
I probably shouldn't say this, but I'm making good progress. I have written almost four new chapters in a few days. From finishing Chapter 9 to the beginning of Chapter 14, which is probably going to be the last chapter for this part. Considering how long I have been working on this already, this is major progress.
I just went through my folders and found two whole chapters that I had scrapped at some point. I honestly didn't remember them at all. Like I was reading them for the first time. It was a good plot twist with great stuff in there, but I'm happy with the direction I took after scrapping those chapters. Should I make them public later after finishing and publishing the story? Would be fun to know where I was taking the story. Then again, it kinda gives away one variation of the plot line I have in store for the third and last part of the story that may or may not be written in the future. It might be the shortest part anyway. But it will wrap up everything. Hopefully. 
Anyway, that's the current situation. I still have the last chapter to write and it might have some problems. But we'll see. I don't have anyone to edit or proofread the story at the moment and I don't know if I ever will. I will do my best with Grammarly once it's time to polish the turd.
