As is obvious from how much I write her, Petunia Paleo is one of my favorite characters. So I knew that I'd have to write a story for her for PVCF. I was a dinosaur geek as a child, and she reminds me a lot of myself in that way. Of note, the font for the story's cover image is supposed to be the Jurassic Park font.

Either Twilight's forgotten she can teleport, or she plans on stuffing the brat who's been annoying her into the T. rex's mouth and winking out.
The last ten words of the villain ending are new, necessitated by the 1,000 word minimum for FimFiction. Other than that, this is unchanged from the app!

This was a fun story to write. Most of them are, in one way or another. I write what I like, so if it isn't fun, it doesn't get written.
I like how even in the villain ending, Petunia still gets what she wants out of things. She's a happy little filly, and even as she's being manipulated out of her discovery, she still gets a friendship report out of it.

...Apparently looking cute. That fiend! Seriously, expect a story starring her soon. As in, not one of my PVCF stories (though I have several of those that star her that need posting as well). I've had a story starring her in my finished pile since December, may as well post it. In case anypony's wondering why I've been posting like crazy this week, I no longer take having that ability for granted. No, not because of running afoul of the rules, but because for the last year FimFiction has been broken for me. I could create stories (but not chapters!), but I could release chapters (but not stories!). I could reply to private messages, but not start them. I couldn't edit my profile page, nor preview messages or blogs. I couldn't even change the font size when reading or add stories to groups (including my own groups!). It wasn't with the site itself, but in my security settings and I never could figure out what was wrong. So when I've posted things over the course of the last year, I've done so from another computer, which is incredibly inconvenient.
Sunday that all changed (possibly Saturday or last week - Sunday is when I noticed). Everything works again for the first time in roughly a year. I don't know if FimFiction changed something, or if No Script did, but either way I'm ecstatic.
I won't keep this up much longer. I'd been planning on releasing one of my PVCF shorts each week until I ran out, and that's going to be my goal after this week is over. I just want to celebrate FimFiction's functionality returning for a few more days.
