Shenanigans is a G3 pony who, as far as I know, never had any media presence. She was, however, fairly popular in the toyline. In addition to brushable ponies and mini figurines, there are even official plush versions of Shenanigans. Hard to believe she never featured in any of the G3 specials with just how much merchandise there is of her.
I have her in my herd - a relatively recent acquisition from The New Gray Mare at SeaquestriaFest last year.

With a name like Shenanigans, you just know she's up to something. Would you trust this mare?
She recently cameoed in another of my stories (Ghost 'Stang), putting her in the Car Wash series. We'll be seeing more of her - I have an idea for a feature starring her, and her car of choice (Edsel) is a big hint as to just what I'm planning for her.

So why write a story starring an obscure G3 merchandise-only pony?
Why not? I figured other writers would take care of the big names from G4 & G5, while my primary focus was on previous generations & toy-only ponies from G4. That was the beauty of the Interactive Storytelling Adventure - there was truly a little bit of everything. Even the most obscure pony might be someone's favorite.
