The Birth of A Magical Unicorn
In starless void lost, I drifted alone
I knew only loss, my heartmate now gone.
Awash in despair, my existence was pained.
I wished her return, her soul’s joy regained.
Alone in the void overcome with grief
Devoid of all hope, no thought of relief
I sought only darkness and sufferings’ ends,
My soul in darkness eternity spends.
Adrift for all ages, ageless in death
A non darkness dot appeared as a breath.
Mind shattered, soul tattered, loss overwhelmed,
My grief numbed somnambulance no longer at helm.
Awakened, my soul turned to drift towards the light
Faint curiosity driving my flight.
Onward I moved, my hope growing within
Light growing brighter, its form filling in.
A pony unlike any other seen
Wings of an Angel and horn of a Queen
At last in Her Presence I finally was
My heart aflutter with hope’s glowing buzz.
“My Pony,” She Spoke and I saw it true
I was a pony as from myst I grew.
‘What has happened?” I gasped to my dismay
As feelings of despair melted away.
“Rejoice, Little Pony,” She gently sings
Her Voice like the wind from angelic wings.
“Your time has not come. You will your life live
“I have called you myself with a new life to give
“You are my pony, I’ll be by your side
“Through trials and triumphs you’ll meet in stride.
“My Champion you will in full time become.
“Harmony guides you as life’s depths you plum.
“Through you will many be brought from despair
“To my loving limbs to show them my care.
“By your works, your deeds, will many be saved
“And others too lost will be made behaved.
“True joy to my heart, you are my delight
“My Champion hero, strong in my fight.
“My Sword shall you be, your might strong and true,
“Bane of all Darkness, All Evil run through.
“And when by your trials we meet yet again
“My daughter and champion will I greet then
“And Bless you with Grace, and Harmony’s Kiss,
“That with me you will strive fore’er in this.”
Then I was brought to a Mare I knew not
She was troubled. I was the gift she sought.
Though a gift quite unplanned, most welcome still
My heart beat within, her child by will.
