    Second Disney Chronicles Intro

While I'm busy finishing Fantasia, here's the official second intro to season 2 of My Little Pony: The Disney Chronicles. Stories have yet to be created or worked on, but hopefully it'll give all of you something to look forward to. Once again thanks for your patience and enjoy.

    Major idea

Guys, I just have the craziest idea in mind. An idea that could help the Disney company.

I've read about a deleted concept in Wish where the star is actually a boy who would be Asha's love interest which would've made the movie even better.

    Birthday

30 today, yet lots of people say I look a lot younger than that.

Still working on my stories. Going a bit slow, but hopefully it'll speed up in time. But I've also been a little busy trying to study so I can succeed for my driving license. I've also been playing a lot on Hogwarts Legacy on my Switch. It's pure Harry Potter magic.

    Holiday in Switzerland

With part 2 of Night on Bald Mountain almost ready, it's about time I tell you all about my trip to Switzerland. I had a great time. We slept in a chalet not far away from a ski resort. The view is beautiful. Sometimes you could see a whole bunch of clouds covering the mountains and sometimes not. You could also hear the bells of the cows nearby.

Aw that is awesome!!!

Awesome. Can't wait to see how the girls and Spike enjoy themselves in those particular movies, especially much like Fantasia are divided up into segments.

Another one bites the dust.

With this intro compared with the next, I wonder if this will follow the trend of anime shows having different songs with their opening sequences.

I'm mostly gonna use these two songs.

This was a nice intro. Can't wait for more :)

Lemme guess: "Happily Ever After" for the five major periods of Disney Animation, and "Live Your Story" for the minor periods?

Season 2 of Disney Chronicles with Anthology fun movies. I like that idea!

Awesome!

A truly amazing video, my friend. I can’t wait!

I wouldn't exactly call them minor, but yes.

Happily Ever After for Golden Age, Silver Age, Renaissance and Revival and Live Your Story for Wartime, Bronze Age and Post-Renaissance.

Good luck on your end. Take all the time you need. Surprised to see Song of the South, but see no reason to shy away from it either. Seeing the Epic Mickey stuff also has me curious.

Excellent work on the 2nd intro! Looking forward how you worked on Song of the South after you finished with Fantasia and the rest of the Golden Age saga. :)

that film has gotten WAY more flak than it deserves.

Oh yeah. I'm more than aware. I tracked it down not too long ago and mostly just remember clips of the animated segments showing up in various media as a kid.

So awesome! Can’t wait for the rest of the upcoming stories after Fantasia.

As we prepare for the inevitable conclusion of the Golden Era's 'Fantasia' project, as part of a series of renditions in the 'Disney Chronicles', an early preview of the intro to the 'War Age' of the Disney Chronicles has officially been released promising its viewers as to who or what we can expect to be featured during this initial run. Inspired by the planning of some key members in the Disney Chronicles community, we are not only given that very glimpse of the 'package films' that were released during that era, but we are given an idea as to some 'guest stars' who will make a prominent appearance during that line-up. The song itself is catchy, though not as highly energetic as the song used in the first run (I say this as I just noticed what Dino has in mind). But either way, while these weren't exactly the 'greatest' movies Disney released, with a little elbow grease and clever thinking, what we may witness are some features that can be worth enjoying through the eyes of the MLP cast.

Overall, I can positively say this was very well put together.

Oh, my gosh! I love that song! :pinkiehappy:

I have a feeling that once we get to Song of the South, it's gonna be one of them Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah days.

Song of the South is actually among the most controversial films released in the United States of America. Including it in the Disney Chronicles would likely be an insult to any African American readers on this site.

5769346
Not this again. I've watched this movie a very long time ago on TV, I don't see why some people believe it's racist.

5769442
Maybe you should Google it.

5769480
They just overreact too much.

That they haven't re-released it on blu-ray and Disney+ is an insult to James Baskett's memory.

5769481
Think what you like, but it also wouldn’t hurt to look up why Song of the South is so controversial.

5769482
Look, I get it why they're still sensitive about the days of slavery and that the movie romantisized it a little, but that was then. They shouldn't keep acting like this and blame it on many people. And it's not that some people still treat them like shit besides everything that happened, that everyone thinks that way.

Watching such movies, books and series, Song of the South, Gone with the Wind, The Color Purple, Roots, Uncle Tom's Cabin... All gives us a glimpse of what it was like back then. Learning about the past gives us shape to the future. And by not showing all this, just because it's controversial or portrayed differently, is like erasing history and pretend it never existed.

Many African-American people have been through so much and fought hard to be free and treated as equals. And if they keep denying that history by demanding that such films should never be shown or made, they're trivialising the entire struggle.

5769346
Well, when you put it that way, you're right. But as Doug Walker, the Nostalgia Critic, said about the film when he reviewed it for Disneycember many years ago, he said if they had someone like John Canemaker or Whoopi Goldberg at the beginning of the film, before it actually starts, if it was officially released on DVD, talk about the subject matter of the film and the time period it was set in and saying how slavery wasn't right then and it isn't right now, it could at least make a VERY limited circulated DVD release. I mean, I have the film on bootleg DVD for Pete sake.

Honestly, I prefer watching the film for the happy-go-lucky nature of Reimus, if that's how you spell his name, and the tales he told of Brer Rabbit. Plus, how can anyone NOT think of Song of the South when they hear Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah?
