M.L.G. Story Update, January 2024 Edition · 11:26pm January 27th
I went back through the first handful of chapters for M.L.G., from the opening up through "Alexandrite", and made some minor edits. Nothing that would impact the plot or anything like that.
Back when I started work on it, I had some struggles with writing from a first-person perspective. Time and time again, I'd slip up for reasons I've long forgotten and write certain actions as if they'd already happened, instead of being in the process of happening. I finally sat down these past few days and fixed what I could.
As to how the current chapter is faring, it's well underway with decent progress. I'm hoping that I can finish it by the end of next week, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Making sure the battle between Levi and Illudere ties up all loose ends concerning the latter is going to be a bit tricky.
On an unrelated note, I've said it before and I'll say it again: I hate Crohn's Disease. Health issues are making it fairly difficult for me to concentrate on stuff at the moment, and the medication I'm taking to keep the side effects in check isn't helping my mood.
