    New Ending Coming Soon...

I am pleased to announce that with 5 replies (a small number, to be sure, but more than I normally get on blogs), I am officially writing a satisfactory ending to the original TRotTE. I also have a confession to make: I was planning on writing one anyway, I just wanted to see how well it would be received before its initial release. It's going to be the longest chapter by far, at around 7000 -

This is going to be a short blog post (in contrast to the longer one I recently posted).

    Happy Hearthswarming!

    Merry Christmas, my friends!

I have good news. I may not get Chapter 1 out today, but the new Prologue should be done soon. I apologize for not finishing on time. I set expectations for myself that I can't fulfill. I've been visiting family in Michigan and haven't had the chance to work on it. But next year will be a better year for me, and I should finish plenty of things.

An Update... · 9:11pm January 20th

Hello, everypony.

In this blog post, I'm going to explain a few things that may finally clarify why it's taken so long to write the new story. I also have a big announcement at the end, so stay tuned.

First of all, my grandmother has recently been admitted into a Skilled Nursing Facility in the local area. There's a good chance she'll be there for the rest of her life. And, since I'm too young to live on my own, I'm in the process of moving to Michigan with my cousins.

Secondly, as a sophomore in High School, I have a lot of homework. And when I'm not working on homework, I'm doing something for an after-school club.

And as for the third and final reason: I've been trying very carefully to write the best possible chapter for the new story. So, please, I only ask that you be patient because I promise you that these chapters will be worth the long wait.

Now, for the big announcements.

  1. As I'm certain you remember, I once released a questionnaire asking you guys who you wanted the unexpected visitor to be in Chapter One. Well, without further ado, I can proudly say that the winner is... still a secret.
  2. On a separate note, I'm officially changing the name of "The Revival of the Tambelonian Empire" to simply "The Revival of Tambelon". The reason? For clarity's sake (and also because I think it sounds 1000x better).
  3. Finally, look forward to the official release of four new VILLAINS stories in April (covering the origins of Grogar, Queen Chrysalis, Cozy Glow, and King Sombra).

But, above all else, I only ask that you please remain patient with me while I write this story. I'd love to hear your feedback in the comments, and I'd like to give a special Thank You to everyone who's been with me since Day One. You've no idea how much it means to me.

Wishing my fellow Bronies and Pegasisters a Happy 2024!

Sincerely Yours,
Robert S. Smith (AlphaWP)
