Goals for this Year · 12:36am January 10th
I would say Plans, but as we all know; No plan survives first contact. So I thought I'd try something different and set some goals for myself this year, and see what happens.
Stories
In regards to my stories, my goals are to get get more chapters out this year.
High Seas of Adventure
The last chapter for this story came out in may of last year and the next chapter has been sitting on the backburner since, now there is a good chuck of at least the first section written but I haven't done much beyond that. So this year I'm aiming for getting at the very least most of the second arc done and posted.
Lore of the Sea of Legends
Officially putting this one on Hiatus since I just haven't had the motivation to really write anything here, so for the time being it'll be on the backburner.
Just a quick note: When I put my stories on Hiatus it just means I've lost interest in writing them right now, but will return to them in future. When I can't say, but they are not cancelled. As I've said before; if I do cancel any of my stories they will have one more chapter that lays out what would happen to give the readers some closure, since there are far too many stories on this site that were never completed and left their ends up in the air. No disrespect towards the writers since RL takes the wheel, I'm just tired of reading good stories only for them to end suddenly with no chance of an update.
To Bring Down an Empire
No changes to this one and it will likely be on Hiatus for a long while yet.
The Dragonfly Hive
Next chapter is coming along great and should be ready soon-ish, not sure what my goal will be for this story since I've been focused on it so we'll have to wait and see beyond me going over and making edits and fixing mistakes.
The Treasure Cove
Originally "A Relaxing Vacation", this story has been renamed and I will change the cover picture at some point but not for a while yet. I will be keeping the only chapter both for archival reasons and because I don't like deleting chapters if I don't have to.
Hunting Grounds
My goal for this one is to at least complete the rest of the Astera Arc, which covers the various things the Mane Six and Spike wanted to see and ends with Shadow Flare revealing that not only is he alive but also an Alicorn.
The Hidden Tribes
Honestly thinking of putting this one on Hiatus for now but not sure at this time.
Now besides the above I also have two other stories I'm hoping to post this year;
Subnautica crossover
No official name as of this blog, this will be my first crossover story and stars Sliver Flame as the protagonist while he survives and explores the Planet 4546B. The story will follow the base outline of the first Subnautica, but will have elements of Below Zero and various fan-made content including the Rise of the Ancients Mod and the new Call of the Void Mod in it as well.
Now there was a post from the mods about just following the same plot on games and stories, just with Ponies instead of the normal characters that came out sometime after I first revealed this story, so I am a little worried about it being rejected, but since Subnautica is a open-world game with only a simple plot, and I'm adding and mixing some things up it might be okay, but we'll have to wait and see about that.
First Hearts Warming Together
This was suppose to be a Christmas one-shot story for last year, but events kept me from doing any work on it so I figured once it's ready I'd just post it regardless of the time of year.
So in the story Silver Flame spends Heart's Warming with his family, and will be the first he has with his new Marefriend; an Eastern Kirin named Sapphire Ribbon.
Speaking of Stories;
Star of the Sea
Not my Story but JNKing's, this is one we've been working on together but it hasn't had a new chapter posted in around a year, so this year I'm hoping we'll be able to finish the "Learning the Ropes" chapters at the very least, though beyond that I'm not sure at the moment.
So that's what's coming for this year, here's hoping those goals will be reached.

Also regarding The Treasure Cove; I think when I first revealed it Storming Seas wasn't around, so will he be joining the cast? I would think so, since he loves the water and I can see him surfing alongside Frost.

I could see him being a late edition;
I'm not sure how fast drones grow, but we could just say that Antenna let him stay with whoever fathered him or let him live with sea serpents, since his genetics matched up perfectly to make him a pure sea serpent rather than a hybrid.
And as for why he wasn't mentioned, Antenna can just reply that nobody asked her about him.
