Hello, everyone! As the title says, this is a general update going over several stories:
let's start with the easy ones. Both The General and his Steed and Sombasi have a chapter that's nearly complete. From how things look, Sombasi's will be uploaded first, followed by T.G.A.H.S.
Then there's Ark: Friendship is Survival. Those who follow the story might've noticed the huge delay in the next chapter. It is being worked on, but I will also be taking a break from Ark for just a little bit. Let me be clear: I'm not bored or hate writing it. I just want to take a break, that's all. 
So you might be wondering: what will take Ark's place in the meantime? Well, I have two options, and which one I choose will depend on YOUR vote. And even if the votes don't come in, I'm sure I can just surprise you all with one or the other. 
So, without further ado, here they are:
Dragon's Dogma
Sunny Starscout is a simple mare living a simple life, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She has a loving father, a peaceful little fishing village to call home, lots of friends, and a dashing stallion to love and grow old with—what more could she ask for?
But everything changed when a shadow was cast over her beloved village, and flapping wings went off like a booming phenomenon as fire rained down upon all that Sunny had loved by a terrifying dragon, one that would change her destiny forever.
And:
Subnautica: Distress Call
Sunny Starscout and her friends work aboard the space-faring trading ship, Sunbeam. Their job consists of transporting various goods to allied planets, but on one such venture, the ship picks up a distress call from the ocean planet: 4546B.
Both stories do indeed have more focus on the Gen 5 ponies, BUT, it's also mixed with G4 elements, too. Basically, G4 and G5 fics, despite them being more focused on the latest additions to the MLP franchise.

I vote Dragons Dogma. I wonder how you'll handle the Pawn mechanic
As much as I would absolutely LOVE to see Dragon's Dogma, I've got my vote for Subnautica. There's actually a larger absence of "Sub" fics than there is for "DD."
EDIT: Yeah, I just looked it up to be sure, and there's a far larger number of DD-inspired fanfics than there are for Subnautica.
Hmm. I do wanna see your spin on a DD fic but Subnautica needs more fics. Subnautica for me.
Subnautica, for me. Dragon's Dogma is also great, but as I've noticed, and as the other people commenting here have said, there aren't many Subnautica fics out there.
The last one I can think of involved Spike, but that's not being updated as of late.
