(We fade from black to a shot of Misty and Alphabittle sitting together by a campfire)
“Tell me something,” Alphabittle tells Misty gently, breaking the silence. “Now that you’re free from Opaline, you can go anywhere…live a brand new life, far away from all of this drama. So why do you want to stay and fight to save the ponies who hate you?”
(We fade to black briefly again, before a short montage of Misty having fun with her friends begins to play in quick succession. First, we see a shot of them all laughing during the sleepover before that scene dissolves away to a shot from the Manesquerade Ball, where we see them dancing together in the ballroom. The screen then fades to black once more before returning to the campfire scene and we see a closeup shot of Misty’s face)
Misty looks up at him sadly. “Because I can’t bring myself to fail them again…”
(The screen fades from the scene once more and we see a shot of Misty running out of the castle from Worthless, with the next frame being of her collapsing onto the ground)
“…I should’ve succumbed to my injuries and died after escaping Opaline’s castle that night. I was never meant to live, but…somehow I did…by some miracle…” she says via voiceover as the scene plays out.
(The scene then fades away before transitioning to Misty looking up at a hologram of Twilight Sparkle who is talking to her from the prisbeam)
“How can I convince her?!” shouts Misty with tears in her eyes. “I can’t even forgive myself and my friends hate me now! I just don’t know what to do…”
(Suddenly, she feels a hoof lift her chin up and she stares into the eyes of the deceased alicorn, who looks back at her with a face of compassion and empathy, radiating wisdom beyond her years with the words that she spoke next)
“Many moons ago,” Twilight advises her, “a student of my own taught me a valuable lesson that I will never forget; that nopony is beyond redemption.”
(As she says this, we slowly zoom into Misty’s face, who is absorbing this information with a shocked look on her face. We then have a hard cut to black)
[TITLE CARD: THIS THANKSGIVING]
(We fade to Misty running out of the Brighthouse and tossing her cloak to the wind as hard as she can behind her, where it lands on the sidewalk with a soft thud)
(We then cut to a slow motion shot of an army of pegasi moving out at once in the next short scene, marching in formation to their deaths down the hill that leads to the outside world. Queen Haven watches them go, her face illuminated by the flashes of lightning above and creating an iconic closeup shot. The rain pours down on her armor, soaking it in the downpour)
(In the next shot, we cut to right above Sunny’s smoothie cart, where a group of earth ponies are raising her very own flag with her face on it. The earth ponies hold up discarded smoothie cups and raise them high into the air as the flag is put into place)
(The scene then cuts to Izzy with the remaining Mane 5, who are onboard the Marestream and formulating a plan of attack. She is in a tense and emotional argument with Misty as evidenced by her angry expression)
“This is not a mistake, we can fix this!” Izzy shouts at her, shaking her head vigorously. “And we can save everyone!! NOPONY DIES!!!” (Cut to a title card)
[TITLE CARD: THE SAGA WILL END]
(The screen fades to Zipp and Pipp embracing each other in the midst of the battle. Pipp sobs relentlessly into her sister’s shoulder, letting out all of the fear and pain she has been going through. Tears cascade from her eyes and they hold on to one another, embracing the moment wholeheartedly. Cut to another title card)
[TITLE CARD: THE JOURNEY LIVES ON]
(We fade from black to a shot of none other than the Marestream slowly descending down towards the ground in front of Mane Melody. Both Izzy and Misty stand on the edge of the ramp, waving enthusiastically to their friends with massive grins on their faces. Behind them are an army of about several thousand hippogriffs clad in battle armor flying in the sky)
(The next shot is of Sunny and Misty locked in a brutal duel to the death. Misty is trying her hardest to reason with her throughout, but the alicorn will not budge)
“I made my choice!!” argues Sunny, swinging the scythe at Misty’s hooves once more, only for the strike to be blocked instantaneously. JUST LET ME DIE ALONE ALREADY!!!”
“I can’t do that!!” Misty yells back at her.
“LIAR!!!!” Sunny shouts again, twirling the weapon in her hooves before swinging in the direction of Misty’s forehead.
(We then have a hard cut to a slow motion shot of Zipp slicing an Umbrum warrior in half right above a confounded Pipp)
(The final shot is of Misty standing with all her friends in front of an enraged Opaline, the final showdown about to commence that will decide the fate of all Equestria. The screen then cuts to black one last time)
