Slowly but surely

It's been a bit of a slog writing the newest chapter. I had hoped to keep up the momentum of the last chapter, but I've had a lot of stuff happening in my life recently and it's been hard to find the time to dedicate to writing.

The motivation is also sparse at the moment. The next chapter is a bit of a housekeeping chapter. Luna has to spend a bit of time training Windy and making her final preparations to leave. A checklist of stuff not important enough to be truly passionate about writing, yet too important to skip over or do offscreen.

I thought about splitting the chapter again to get the completed half out on time, but I decided against it. I want to get this all done in one go even if it takes long.

However, the chapter after the next is the one I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to writing. Valley Dale was supposed to be a chill, slow paced arc to settle things down after Luna’s emotional turmoil at leaving, but it's also the calm before the storm.

I hope you enjoyed the slice of life / magic show arc, because things are going to start moving quickly at the end of the next two chapters.

I'm looking forward to hearing Celestia thoughts. Is she going to realize that she spent so much time pushing her sister away and making everything else more important that by the time she realize that she needs Luna that she is too late to show her that she cares about her.
