Howdy, y'all! It's the first of NaNo, and I wanted to wish all my fellow NaNo campers good luck! I know I'll for one need it... I hope to get a ton of writing done this month, but we'll see what happens! On a related note, I did push myself to finish the second chapter of Just a Pony today, so progress is... slow, but happening. Nothing more to say on that really, but other stuff under the cut.
Did I ever tell y'all I make mixtapes? Like, on cassette, with custom art and shit. I made a few some years ago for thedarkprep (well, I've made her a lot over the years, but two in particular are what this is about), and I've remade them for myself to have copies and because she wanted the digital files that I did not keep apparently.
Since these two are Who We Become Related, I decided it'd be fun to show y'all what I do with this! I'm redoing the J-cards because I learned a lot since making these original ones, but I need to buy more ink for my printer first lol
No track listing pics right now because I'm still working on the interior part of these J-cards, and because as these were gifts to thedarkprep, I would feel weird giving everyone the tools to make these playlists without her okaying it. But yeah! I just think they're neat and thought y'all might feel the same. Also working on a Bitchette/Washouts mixtape as well, I'll post pics of that when it's ready if there's interest.
yeeee happy nano the first! i am predicting my crash and burn in four days because despite setting the bar very low because i know myself, i then proceeded to overshoot significantly today. BUT NO MATTER

I'm hoping I don't burn out, and I'm just having a slow ramp up right now. But it's fair to say I did not write what I wanted to today... No matter, I'll continue on! If I get Act I of Just a Pony written this month, no matter how many words I do, then I'll be quite delighted with my progress.
