General Description: Previously one of Queen Chrysalis's many drones, he was headhunted more or less at random by Cocoa Mocha, who saw the value in having someone with top-notch infiltration abilities in his inner circle. Swayed to his side by promises of love and Celestia's downfall, and convinced of Cocoa's power when he cleanly fought off Chrysalis's retaliatory ambush, the changeling joined Cocoa. Following a short stay in Seaddle---where he gave himself the name "Bushwhacker" on reflex after accidentally falling into someone's foliage---he was stationed in Ponyville.
Starting off as ravenous and aggressive as the rest of the swarm, Bushwhacker's more good-hearted side woke up as time passed and ambient love took the edge off his hunger. He took to making candy as a hobby to supplement the construction work he claimed he was good at. The end result of one of his experiments, Heartbreakers, became an additional source of income following the establishment of a successful business. He grew to enjoy civilian life and see it as an improvement over his life with the hive.
Influenced in no small part by a friendship he successfully struck up with a Ponyville native, Bushwhacker has strong moral standards. While he wants to see Cocoa---later First Quarter---gain the throne, he is unnerved by her and Ignition's brand of skullduggery. He is waiting for the day when Quarter finally achieves her objectives and he can return to his quiet life in Ponyville. Awareness of Chrysalis's own eventual designs on Canterlot is the only thing keeping him from leaving the group sooner at this point.
Once the timeline advances to the Season 6 finale, we presumably find out his actual name. I'm assuming his reformed design keeps the established color scheme, too, because that kind of continuity is all the more important for shapeshifters.

Why do we find it out in Seaosn 6 Finale? Pretty sure this is supposed to be "Kevin".
