Saying Goodbye To The Equestria Chronicles....Prelude · 11:27pm Oct 23rd, 2023
Hi everyone, I'm making an update post regarding my first fanfiction ever, The Equestira Chronicles: Prelude, originally known as 'A Little Trust Goes A Long Way', this story holds a special place in my heart for how terrible it is. It has had two reviews, both of which are negative, don't be upset on my behalf. I asked for both these reviewers to look at my work at different points in time. (The first review when it initially came out and the second when I wanted to submit the Equestria Chronicles: Journey Through The Crystal Mountains for review.) Now my stories have grown since then, I brought my co-author on the scene and completed the first novel with 90,700 words in the span of a month.
Currently, we're at 158,000+ with more chapters along the way, and while our current story continues to grow and evolve, my first story comes less and less relevant overtime. As of now, the story is now partially canon, what does that mean? Take everything you see with a grain of salt, what's canon? Everything and anything that was mentioned in the sequel books and spin-off's, nothing past the Prelude will be non-canon or retconned. However, the Prelude will be rewritten at a later date.
