The Misty Saga Is Officially A Year Old! · 1:25am Oct 17th, 2023
Today marks Worthless’s one year anniversary of being posted to this site and kickstarting the Misty Saga! What a journey writing this series has been so far. When I first wrote the story a year ago, I never thought it would bloom into the phenomenon that it is now. Since then, I’ve learned so much and grown over the course of each installment. It’s because of you guys that I have the confidence I do as a writer, and I owe it all to this story. Misty really is a pony who speaks to me on a level that no other MLP character has ever done before and it’s been an honor following her journey and seeing her grow so much, both in G5 proper and the Misty Saga itself. She’s truly grown into a protagonist we can all follow and relate to, and is without a shadow of a doubt a shining example of this generation’s best qualities.
I promise you all that the conclusion to this epic saga will be worth all the investment you’ve put in it. Something big is coming, my friends. Something big is coming. And I can’t wait for both Purpose and Redeemed to round out the story that began so long ago. She has yet to truly rise.

I just know that the Make Your Mark finale will see Misty in her shining moment (alongside Sunny and the rest, of course). I can’t wait to see the look on Opaline’s face when she’s defeated.
