Question of the Week #122 · 12:44am Sep 12th, 2023
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week.
So, last week I was asking questions about writing an original story, first I wanted to clarify that this story(ies) would not be fanfics (though I may incorporate some elements that I have used in my fanfics) but an actual original story.
This leads to my first question, do you want to read blogs or questions of the weeks involving the original story?
I ask because I've noticed in the past when I talked about my rpg projects (which I am still working on by the way), I got few to no answers at all, so I just wanted to see if this would be something that you all might be interested in or not.
Now I will probably go ahead and ask questions in regards to it this week anyway and see, while also showing gifs of Twilight being a mad scientist (for totally no reason what so ever ).
So, first off, what are some traits/characteristics can you have for a mad scientist, that you can also sympathize with?
And second if you were a mad scientist and you were to inject someone else with a serum that would mutate that person, what would it be?

Well, there you go, three questions this week. For the recap they were:
- Do you want to read blogs or questions of the weeks involving the original story?
- What are some traits/characteristics can you have for a mad scientist, that you can also sympathize with?
- If you were a mad scientist and you were to inject someone else with a serum that would mutate that person, what would it be?
And those are the questions for the week.
Thank you all for stopping by. I'm sure you all had a great time... Right?

Reading normal human stories after years of mostly ponies (and other creatures and EqG) would feel like taking a breath of oxygenated water. The shift is drastic.
At least, for me. I'll miss those quadrapeds, but I don't mind reading your blogs about non-mlp related.
After all, I occasionally read some HFY stories. The one I got into was some innocuous and boringly themed: human wears power armour to magic school. It was surprising because the story revolves more about diplomatic politicking first and HFY second set in a fantasy school. Imagine putting a future common human UN soldier in a medieval setting where all the scholars are diplomats and nobles that value status.
I find that if the Mad Scientist still reacts and does stuff like a common human on certain lines or boundries, I think they are fine. Like Dr. Doofenshmirtz or Dr. Gru. As long as they do stuff not for the sake of cruelty.
I'll assume when you mutate, you also don't mean mutate them into a zombie. This question seems like a personal choice so I guess... something random. I like to see what surprise it would have.

Don't worry, I do intend to continue working on my mlp story projects, this is just a project I will be working on in the background.
Yeah, no, not a zombie. Think something like... well maybe a monster girl or like some of the creatures from the Resident Evil series (except they are sentient and not necessarily hostile to others) or maybe some sort of SCP oddity maybe.
I don't see why I'd even bother with the injection if I knew what it did. Mad scientist, not mad engineer. (Why do the emojis have to be stuck in season 1? That should be Lesson Zero Face but we don't have one )
