Note To Self: Don't try to import chapters from Google Drive to FimFic on mobile. · 2:29pm Aug 28th, 2023
Chapter Seven is finished, and work on Chapter Eight has started. Just thought this was funny.
Chapter Six will be released to the public sometime this week.
Oh, and there's a Chapter Seven title drop, ig.
😂
Thank you for the warning 🤣
Probably would have tried this at some point🦆
I’ve been working on a story or two for a while now. My primary source is paper. The transfer rate is an extremely slow, but it is very accurate -hasn’t failed me yet. Not sure if I can recommend it, though.

I attempted to import a chapter onto Fimfiction.net from Google Drive using a mobile device so you don't have to!

The first chapter was actually written in a Libre Office Writer doc. I just copy-pasted the entire thing into FimFic and then went back to manually reformat the entire chapter while editing it at the same time. It was after all that I discovered the "Import Chapter" button.
Every chapter from Chapter Two onwards was written in Google Docs because it's both faster and easier.
I used to write in google docs. I've known the import button existed a while, but I've never used it myself. I just {select all}, {copy} and {paste}. I might try it myself. (Also, I do write on mobile (tablet)).

I primarily write on my computer, though there are occasions where I might quickly type some stuff up on my phone when I can't get to my computer for whatever reason.
A prime example of this would be the first draft of Chapter Seven, which I have nicknamed "The Walmart Draft" due to the fact that it was written in its entirety while I was using the restroom at Walmart (830-ish words in about half an hour).

A decently high word count for half an hour with a phone.
