BD 7 and some thoughts · 3:19pm Aug 24th, 2023
So I'm finishing up chapter 23 right now, and I figured I'd drop this blog now.
In the past two chapters we got berserk Twilight and giddy Starlight. There's obviously something there with both of those, but I just wanted to say how much I really liked writing them. While at this point I feel like Sunset is lagging behind a bit, I think around where I'm writing now, she's really coming into her own.
As far as their imposed roles go, I feel like Twilight and Starlight are bearing the brunt of the drama right now, and Sunset is building the romance. As the story goes on, the trio will have heavy development in both of those areas.
There were questions of the other Mane 6 making an appearance and I would like to include them, but will only do so if it makes sense. I will say there is a decently good chance of them appearing at some point.
So let's see where we're at right now. Crazy Twilight trying to please Luna. Crazy Starlight trying to fit in. And Sunset trying to get stronger... while dealing with developing feelings for Twilight.
Celestia and Luna are kind of in the background, but I'm certain this next chapter will change that somewhat, though the focus will stay on the trio.
I've kind of cornered myself with my rate of updates, lol. With End I was updating every other week so it gave me time to write one shots quite a bit. With Blooming I've change my update rate to first doing twice a week and now moving that to one update every four days.
Also updating Loss every 15th and last day of the month has locked me down. I think I'm gonna do 2 more one shots for October since I have one already ready to post.
People with computers are lucky. I think I could increase production drastically if I didn't have to write on my phone. Why am I even writing this? Lol.
