Sometimes Fim is brutal. Post the new chapter.
Lose a like.
"Sure that happens."
Get a dislike
"Haven't gotten one of those in a while. Honestly, expected."
Lose another like.
"Alright, not gonna lie, that sucks..."
Get another dislike.
"..."
It be like that sometimes. Just remember that there's plenty of people supporting you, just because they can.

Thanks. Positivity helps a lot more than people think.

Any kind word has a chance to change a life forever, people should remember that power, and try their best to make people smile.

If only I was less pessimistic.
I didn't know people did things like that. I mean, I've found myself reading something I didn't particularly cared for (even in this very fic) but I've never thought about removing my like or anything. I really like how you manage to give these characters a new spin.

Thanks so much for the kind words!
I think what really bothers me is all the questions that come with dislikes and losing likes.
"Was it something in the story?"
"Did the most recent chapter displease?"
"Are they new to the story and something early pissed them off?"
"Is it just ships they don't like?"
"Moral differences?"
I tend to overthink.

Oh, yeah. My psychologist is working with me on similar thoughts. Social cues are not obvious to me, so I needed to analyze everything about an interaction to decipher hidden meanings. She's training me to observe the facts as they are, and avoid conclusions.
One exercise involved looking at an oil painting and trying to describe what I was literally seeing. Instead of seeing the little suns, the waves, and the small houses, I described the general shapes and colors.
Maybe the stats on your fic are just that: pencil strokes that form a general shape. Likes, dislikes, and views. But these comments, both positive and negative, are like photos of actual objects. You don't need to guess their intent.
Let me use this comment to praise Blooming Days once more: I really enjoy the different POVs, and how our protagonists think and feel differently about a given interaction. Sunny is the least insane imo hahahah but I love them all. Sorry for the wall of text!

Unfortunately, my insecurities and weaknesses always get the best of me.
Lol, agreed. She's definitely the most well adjusted, thank you so much!
No need for apologies. I love talking to people. Thanks for taking time out of your day to converse.
