Extra Copies of WINTER DREAMS, SUMMER REMINISCES Available! · 4:56pm Aug 21st, 2023

So it's been over a week since Everfree Northwest has ended, and I got some good news and bad news from RBDash47, the organizer of Twilight's Book Nook at EFNW.

The good news: Winter Dreams, Summer Reminisces made a sale!

The bad news: There was only a sale. The fourteen other copies were sent back to me right after the convention, and there is exactly zero profit for either me or RBDash47 because the sole book sale pretty much paid for the shipment back. That also means the donation I was going to make to the Foundation for Women's Cancer will be much less than I initially hoped.

This was disappointing, but not entirely surprising. Unlike BronyCon 2019, where people were buying every book sold for the memento value and my story collection Endings was explicitly themed around BronyCon's conclusion, Winter Dreams had only a loose theme (winter and summer) and happened at a convention that is still going strong. I actually reduced the number of copies sent to Seattle (from 20 to 15) because I started suspecting this wouldn't be the runaway success I initially suspected.

After talking to RBDash47 about further sales possibilities, I've decided I'm going to offer the remaining copies to you guys first. I'm going to keep the price at $9 like it was at EFNW, as that'll adequately pay for both the printing and shipping costs. I can accept PayPal payments for the book, but let me know if there's another method you'd prefer to use. I will also be signing the books (unless you specifically ask me not to). I will still be donating half of all sales to the Foundation for Women's Cancer, though it will likely be a series of payments instead of one payment like I initially planned.

Check out the stories available in the collection here. DM me if you're interested in getting Winter Dreams, and tell any of your physical collector friends to check this out too!
