So as some of you know, my laptop took a brutal spill over a week ago. And as a result, my hard drive gave it's last breath and the motherboard has suffered damage where I can't even install a copy of Windows 10 from boot menu. So yeah, I might've bought an internal ssd for no good reason. But in other news:
WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS!
This thing feels different. It's so much faster than the last one and it operates with touchscreen capabilities. The only drawback is that I have to learn a little more about Windows 11 in the process. But it's got thunderbolt for my audio interfaces and other devices. So while I have an internal SSD intended for the old unit, I guess I can use it for backup and storage.
So while there may not be a chapter on tomorrow (since I just got it today), I can certify one will be done for next week. Thank you all who donated, I'll be up and at full-send come sometime tomorrow... hopefully.
I'm not the biggest fan of Windows 11 but it seems to operate fine most of the time on my Laptop that's not as new or up-to-date as what you've picked up. Otherwise, it's good to hear you got things back up and rolling.
Welcome back
